We obviously have to ensure essential services of the factory are looked after and maintained as it is on a scale now where it is almost a living breathing machine.
Through careful management and planning, this is achievable on a skeleton staffing level (to enable us to follow social distancing guidelines) so we are still in a position to develop artwork and generate orders when the all clear is given.
We would like to reassure you that the welfare of our staff and supply chain are of paramount priority to us at EAS and will always be put this first.On a slightly lighter note though, in these difficult times, we have now been called upon to step up as an essential business, and commence the production of millions of face masks.
Due to our unique set up where we produce the raw material ingredients to our EAS products, from the weaving and coating of the various fabrics, right through to the printing, sewing all in house, we have been given licence by local government to alter our working practices and production lines to do this.We hope that you all stay safe in these uncertain times and will keep you informed of our Design and production levels as the situation develops.
